Happy New Year — And Welcome Back!

  • Happy New Year, everyone! I’m so grateful to be starting another year with you, and even more grateful that you’ve continued to follow my journey through all its twists, pauses, and restarts. Stepping into 2026, I feel more refreshed, more grounded, and more excited to share what’s ahead.
  • This year will still include Step 1 studying (because that journey isn’t over yet!), but it feels different—lighter, more focused, and more intentional than before. I’m also working part-time now, which means a little more financial stability and a lot of new experiences I can’t wait to talk about. From navigating long study days to balancing work, managing stress, and finding joy in the in-between moments, I’m looking forward to bringing you along for all of it.

What You Can Look Forward to This Year

  • I want this space to feel more organized, more useful, and more connected. So here are the sections you’ll start seeing throughout my posts:

Reflect In:

  • Personal reflections, daily insights, and honest updates about studying, routines, and life as a medical student navigating uncertainty and growth.

News In:

  • Short, understandable reactions to medical news, journal articles, and scientific updates—something I’m excited to bring back after realizing how valuable it is to stay informed and help others do the same.

Study In:

  • Study tips, SMART goal planning, routines that work (and ones that don’t), and the small strategies that make a noisy home, a tight budget, and a busy schedule a little easier to manage.
  • I’m reading your comments, and your feedback truly shapes how I write. Thank you for every message, every click, and every moment you’ve spent here. I’ll keep finding meaningful ways to engage with you and improve the way we connect.

Upcoming Additions (By the second half of the year)

  • Before the end of this year, I’m hoping to expand this space into a true community. Here’s what I’m currently exploring:
  • 📌 Community space — a place where we can all engage with each other more
📌 Newsletters — for quick updates and weekly summaries
📌 Forms/Q&A — where you can send topic requests or questions
📌 Webinars??? — maybe! I’d love to teach, share study strategies, or break down medical news live if there’s interest
  • These are all ideas in progress, and I’d love to hear what you want to see.

Before You Go…

  • Let me hear from you:
What are you looking forward to this year?
What routines are you building? What goals are you setting? What topics do you want me to cover?
  • Thank you again for your support and for taking the time to read my posts. I’m excited to grow with you in 2026.
